Filled with commercials just too much

The launcher is filled with advertisements, and suggestions for paid content. poorly configurable. Apps only mode still keeps suggesting disney+ etc, and disables Google assistant voice command. The design feels like it is made to sell tv packages, and not to give users the freedom to configure the ui, content and features they want. Makes me want to design my own Launcher and replace the default, with options to disable all paid content suggestions and with full opt in on each source, category and block for suggestions, and options to configure remote buttons for which apps to open or action to perform on single, double, long click, and keep google voice command, with added custom commands. This is what I would start with. It really feels like an unnecessarily messy screen designed to sell more tv packages and show advertisements and satisfy the advertiser as customers rather than satisfy the user as the customer. Yes, feels like it's a strategy to turn the users to the product again for up and cross sell opportunities.
